Close to 3.5 lakh out of the about 6.3 lakh provident fund subscribers in Ernakulam, Alappuzha, Thrissur and Lakshadweep under the sub-regional office of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in Kochi have obtained the mandatory universal account number (UAN).

Those who have not applied for the UAN must initiate the registration process without delay, as it is required to be quoted by members in claim forms and while lodging grievances and representations with the EPFO.
