Two persons were killed and a woman was injured when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a road divider on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) at Himayatsagar late on Sunday night.
The victims were identified as software professional Durga Prasad from Chandanagar, and cab driver Chandrasekhar. The police said Prasad and his wife Poorna were returning to the city from Vijaywada in the cab when the accident took place. “The cab driver lost control over the car and rammed into the road-divider resulting in the death of the two persons,” Rajendranagar Inspector Ch. Kushalkar said.
The woman was shifted to a private hospital.
