A Bangladeshi national Noor-ul-Haq, who was on the run after the arrest of Pakistani national Mohammed Nasir, caught for alleged links with Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami a week ago, was arrested by the Special Investigation Team of city police on Monday.

His accomplice, Hashim alias Shaik Ameer alias Anwar, 40, a Myanmar national, was caught at Lingampally.

Noor-ul-Haq and Hashim were arrested after Nasir was caught for allegedly fraudulently obtaining Indian passports - revealed their names.

“We will produce them before a court and ask for police custody,” a Special Investigation Team official said. Noor and Hashim reportedly helped Nasir enter the country illegally. The police suspect that the duo also introduced him to Masood, a passport agent from Chanchalguda.
