Spiritual discourses at Dundigal

As part of 12th Chaturmasya Vrata Deeksha which began on Ashada Purnima this month, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram at Dundigal has been organising various spiritual discourses.

According to Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swami, the junior pontiff of Datta Peetham, the time of Chaturamasya is observed to awaken spiritual consciousness, inculcate the habit of ahimsa and disseminate knowledge. Hence, the ashram has been conducting two-month-long special pujas, discourses on Vedanta, Upanishads such as Devi Bhagawatam and Sunderakanda apart from organising food distribution among poor and blood donation.. The programme is on till September 28.
