The National Industrial Security Academy (NISA), a premier training arm of the Central Industrial Security Force, has bagged award in the category of Trainer/Faculty Development at the just concluded 2{+n}{+d}National Symposium on Excellence in Training.

A press release said the award was received by Deputy Inspector General, NISA, T. Vikram, who presented a case study on the Integrated Faculty Development Program (IFDP) at NISA. He outlined the five components of IFDP — START that stands for Specialisation, Training, Accountability, Relevance and Technology.

NISA faculty members were divided into different subject groups with a group leader and this helped the faculty develop the expertise in their respective subject matter that would be handled by them for the entire semester/year.
