NCR Corporation is shifting its research and development centre in Hyderabad to a new facility at Raheja Mindspace in the city.
It is one of largest software development centres of the company and would remain a critical hub focused on developing innovative solutions for global markets, a release from NCR said. The new facility would be ready by early 2017.
The Hyderabad centre of the Georgia-headquartered firm is already developing and supporting software and services global institutions use to empower consumers through self-service applications such as the Interactive Teller ATM, EMV contactless ATM cash withdrawals, retail self-checkout lanes as well as CRM platforms, the release said.
Senior vice-president and CTO for software solutions at NCR Corporation Eli Rosner said:
“As we continue to build our innovative, omni-channel architecture, the Hyderabad facility will play an important role as a strategic global centre for software development.”
