Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao will take up campaign for TRS in Palair Assembly by-election for 14 days from Sunday as the party in-charge for the election.
Mr. Rao discussed the campaign strategy with party candidate and Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Saturday, a release said.
The meeting decided that a Minister supervise campaign for each of the four mandals in the constituency. Similarly, a MLA will be in-charge for every five villages. There will be ten-member committees for all the 240 booths. The members of the committees will be identified by MP A. Sitaram Naik and MLA D.S. Redya Naik. The government programmes and developmental activities will be taken to all households with the help of pamphlets and other literature. The ‘immoral’ understanding between Congress, Telugu Desam and YSR Congress will be highlighted, the release informed.
The release added that the lower rung leaders of party will also go to Palair to assist the Ministers and MLAs in the campaign. About 40 corporators of GHMC led by Mayor Bonthu Ramamohan will campaign in the constituency for 14 days.
