Kachiguda bagged the 15th spot, while Secunderabad was ranked 23rd in a cleanliness survey of 75 A1 category stations conducted across the country for Indian Railways. Hyderabad bagged the 47{+t}{+h}spot.
Surat, Rajkot and Bilaspur are the cleanest stations according to a passenger feedback survey on cleanliness at major railway stations done by an independent agency, TNS India pvt. ltd., which was entrusted the task by Indian Railways as part of the ‘Swachh Rail Swachh Bharat’ mission.
Interestingly, none of the stations in South Central Railway make it to Level 1 where 13 stations find a mention.
A total of 407 stations, including 332 A category stations, were surveyed. Additionally, feedback from non-railway survey providers at stations and Railway officials who are part of the Service Improvement Group (SIG) at stations were also part of the survey.
