July 15, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:38 am IST - Hyderabad:

Software firm SAP and Indian School of Business (ISB) have joined hands to mentor five start-ups in the social entrepreneurship space.

The ISB-SAP Social Enterprise Jumpstart is to nurture the social entrepreneurship ecosystem with relevance to national priorities. The selected start-ups would be provided training, mentorship and access to networks to accelerate their growth. ISB Dean Rajendra Srivastava and SAP Labs India Managing Director Dilip Kumar Khandelwal announced this at a press meet here on Thursday.

The call for application, from start-ups that are in existence for at least one year, begins on July 20.

The four-month programme, in which ISB students will also be involved, provides the start-ups access to business, academic mentors and subject experts through the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
