Following the success of a pilot project in finding water sources in hard rock areas and re-charging ground water in two villages of Nalgonda district, CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute is planning to replicate the mission in several other villages in the same district. NGRI took up the project under CSIR-800 scheme, which is aimed at lifting 800 million people from poverty.

Dr. M.J. Nandan, senior scientist involved in the project, termed the outcome of the pilot project as a “very good success story”.
