Bharath remanded

S. Bharath Simha Reddy, whose alleged rash driving under the influence of alcohol resulted in the death of his friend K. Devi Reddy travelling with him, was remanded in judicial custody for 14 days on Monday.

Mystery shrouded the death of Devi who died in the road accident involving the car being driven by Bharath reported 10 days ago. Police initially registered a case of rash and negligent act resulting in death but altered the section of law to 304-Part-II of the IPC. Bharath was detained soon after the accident but presented before the court framing the fresh charge on Monday after which he was remanded in judicial custody.
