HC rejects bail plea of directors of jewellery store

Justice M. Satyanarayana Murthy of the Hyderabad High Court on Monday refused to grant anticipatory bail to the directors of Musaddilal Jewellers who faced charges of generating advance cash receipts on the night of November 8, 2016, soon after the demonetisation of Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 500 denomination notes was announced.

The judge was dealing with anticipatory bail petitions by Musaddilal Jewelers Pvt Ltd, Musaddilal Gems and Jewels (P) Ltd, Vaishnavi Bullion (P) Ltd and their directors Jithender Kumar Agarwal Nikhil Gupta, Nitin Gupta, Seera Mallesh, Neha Gupta and Narenderji Gellaboina. and Vinutha Bolla.
