Traffic restriction in Central Delhi

Rajpath and some adjoining roads will be out of bounds for motorists from Sunday afternoon till late evening in view of the scheduled mass yoga programme, the Delhi Traffic Police said on Saturday.

The four-hour yoga session is being organised by the Patanjali Yog Samiti and will begin at 5 p.m. Traffic restrictions will be in place from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Apart from Rajpath, the restrictions will be imposed on Janpath, Maulana Azad Road and Dr. Rajender Prasad Road. There will be no restrictions on the India Gate C-Hexagon.To guide motorists, traffic police personnel will be deployed at all these roads.
