Sisodia reviews monsoon plans

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday reviewed the preparedness of various departments to overcome any eventuality during the rainy season. The minister also unveiled a manual containing important information called Flood Control Order, 2016.

A central Flood Control Room has been established under District Magistrate (East), which will operate round the clock till October 15. Officials of various departments and civic agencies will be on hand to address rain-related problems.

East Delhi residents can reach a 24x7 helpline at 155303, while complaints from North Delhi can be lodged at 1266.
