‘Security forces need to be careful in view of Naga accord’

Nagaland Governor P. B. Acharya has urged the security forces to take extra care and precaution in handling any law and order situation keeping in mind the peace agreement between the Centre and NSCN (IM).

“All the citizens and security agencies should have one goal to achieve and that is peace,” the Governor said during an interaction with the General Officer Commanding (GoC) 3 Corps, Rangapahar, Lt Gen Bipin Rawat at Raj Bhavan on Thursday.

The GoC made a courtesy call on the Governor and briefed him on the security situation in the State, a Raj Bhavan official said today.- PTI
