“To make the procedure faster and easier, the time for making payment has been decreased to 15 minutes, from 45 minutes,” said a DDA spokesperson.

Time-bound service

At present, applicants have to fill their details and upload scanned copies of required documents online and are required to make the payment within 45 minutes.

“Earlier bookings were to be confirmed /approved online by the concerned Superintending Engineer (SE) of the zone but no time limit was fixed. Now for public convenience and to bring in transparency and efficiency, it has been decided that the concerned Superintending Engineer of the zone will approve the booking within three working days failing which it shall be deemed to have been approved with the full personal liability of the concerned SE,” he said.
