AAP Punjab convener Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi termed the dharna by Congress inside the Assembly here as “mockery of democracy”, and alleged that the key opposition party has “failed miserably” to perform its role on the floor of the House.
“Instead of insisting on discussion on the key issues on the floor of the House, during the last session of the current Vidhan Sabha, Congress preferred to enact a drama of dharna inside the Assembly to catch the attention of media, which is highly deplorable,” he said.
