: A 38-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his house in South-East Delhi’s Sangam Vihar on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Puran, who was an auto driver.

On Tuesday night, Puran was to call on his family, who lives in South Delhi’s Neb Sarai. “However, when he did not turn up, some of his relatives went to Sangam Vihar to check on him,” said a senior police officer.

Puran’s family members broke open the door of his house to find him lying unconscious and bleeding from his head.

“He was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead,” said the officer.

Puran’s family members have alleged that he was murdered. They have claimed that he had a fight with someone a few days ago.
