The 110 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) in Coimbatore will conduct a recruitment rally at the PRS Ground here on March 1.
Priority will be for employed persons, self employed persons, NCC cadets, those who are trained in shooting, sportspersons and children of ex-servicemen. Persons employed in government and private firms should produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employers.

Interested candidates should be present at the venue at 6 a.m. in half shorts and shoes sportswear, with original certificates and three passport size photographs. Minimum qualification for soldier general duty is a pass in 10{+t}{+h}standard with 45 per cent and a pass in 10{+t}{+h}standard for soldier tradesman.
According to a release from the District Collector, candidates should be in the age group of 18 to 42, at least 160 cm in height and weigh at least 50 kg.
