Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Coimbatore, will organise Africa Seminar Series here on July 28. Representatives of missions of African countries (Ghana, Mali, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, Zambia, Bostwana and Mauritius) will address the participants.

Expo

Poompuhar is conducting a seven-day handicraft exhibition at Tirupur. Artisans have come from different parts of the country, including Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. The exhibition was inaugurated on Wednesday at Ramasamy Kalyana Mandapam and is supported by the Central Government.

A similar event will be held in Coimbatore for a week from August 4.

Introduction class

The Branch Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Institute will conduct an introductory class on July 30 on export marketing and documentation as a lead up to the two-week part-time course to be conducted from August 15, according to a press release.

Ooty Film Festival

A three-day Ooty Film Festival has been organised at the HADP Auditorium in Udhagamandalam from July 29 to 31.

Organised by the India Foundation for the Arts, Bengaluru, and Native Arts Trust, Ooty, a total of six films will be screened on all days. The screening to expose young audience to contemporaryfilm practices will be followed by discussions with veterans in the industry. Entry is free of cost.

Date change

The date for the regional-level Pension Adalat for western region, which was to be held on August 26 at the Office of the Postmaster General, Western Region, here has been revised.

It will be held on August 24 at 11.30 a.m., according to a release.
