Good response to placement drive

As many as 367 students got placement offers in two months’ time at the Sri Eshwar College of Engineering.

A release from the college said that 76 per cent of students were recruited by 27 multi-national companies of which 22 companies offered salary above Rs. 3 lakh per annum to 311 students.

Salary

The highest salary offered this year was Rs. 6.50 lakh per annum.

The companies that gave such offers included 12 new multi-national companies, said Mohanram and Sudha Mohanram, chairman and principal of the college respectively.

More than 20 companies had scheduled to conduct campus recruitment drives in the months to come, said Rajaram, director of the institution.
