Doctors’ conference

More than 400 doctors will take part in the Ganga Anaesthesia Refresher Course, an annual national level meeting of the speciality of anaesthesia, conducted by Ganga Hospital and Medical Centre, Coimbatore here from June 16.

The course is designed to discuss various facets of advancements in anaesthesiology. Nine faculties from France, U.K., the U.S., Australia, and Singapore, and 67 from India will take part in the programme along with 400 anaesthesiologists.

The theme of the conference is “Best Practises in Perioperative Care.”

It will include Dr. Ravindra Bhat Memorial oration by Mahtria Ra of Infinitheism, Anaesthesia Leadership Summit, four workshops, and life skill sessions.

Critical Incident App, the first of its kind will be launched during the conference by Prof. Kamaeswara Rao, president of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists. Seven anaesthesiologists will be conferred with Hall of Fame Award. For details log on towww.gangaanaesthesia course.com.

Job fair

District Collector Archana Patnaik has said that a job fair for the physically challenged will be held on June 17 at District Employment Office between 10.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Private organisations will participate.

Rally

A Backwaters Rally conducted by Maruti Suzuki from Udhagamandalam to Kochi will start from June 16.
