CBM College gets new principal

September 02, 2015 12:00 am | Updated March 28, 2016 02:48 pm IST - COIMBATORE:

CBM College has got a new principal in V. Srinivasan. According to sources, the College Secretary C.M. Ramraj on August 31 appointed Mr. Srinivasan, who was the senior most faculty.

His appointment comes on the day the students took to the streets and courted arrest demanding principal.

Mr. Srinivasan had to move the Madras High Court to get appointed as the college management had earlier appointed a person who did not top the seniority list. This is expected to bring an end to the student unrest that persisted for the last several weeks.
