Is New Year something you look forward to?

Sort of. It's all festive and there’s this excitement in the air.

Who are you going to celebrate New Year with?

My sister. She will accompany me on the trip.

How was 2016 for you?

It was a little mundane, but when I look back, it all went by in a blink of an eye.

What is your go-to New Year song?

‘Wish you were here’.

What is your takeaway from 2016?

I learnt a good deal of MMA and had experience in architecture.

What are your plans for New Year's eve?

Duty till 9.30 p.m. and then going for a movie at night.

Is New Year something you look forward to?

Yes. All other years I was with my family in Madurai and we used to celebrate it by cutting a cake and bursting crackers.

Who will you be celebrating New Year's with?

My brother.

What is your New Year resolution?

I stopped my education after 10th. So in 2017, I plan to start studying again.

What are your plans for New Year’s eve?

I’ll drive to my friend’s house and have some expensive scotch.

Is New Year something you look forward to?

It is just another day. Getting a new calendar should not be that big a deal.

What is your New Year resolution?

2016 was quite good; I did almost everything I wanted to do in 2016. In 2017, I’m looking forward to new adventures. This year’s biggest plan is to take my stand-up international. I’m in talks with clubs in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and the U.S.

How was 2016 for you ?

2016 was amazing. I did my first solo special show, did my first all-India comedy tour and started my own comedy collective. I can’t wait for 2017 to begin. For starters, I’m writing a movie and a web series.

I'll be spinning at 1 GST for one of Chennai's premier NYE parties.

In 2012, I made a resolution to not make New Year resolutions.

Yes, very much. New Year gives me hope for a new start. Basically, all my regrets are covered with hope.

Learn more makeup and go to London.

Have you ever completed a New Year resolution?

Yes. I took a resolution three years back that I will never drink again, and I have been a teetotaller since then.

What is your takeaway from 2016?

I have realised that I have to start saving more. I spend a lot. This goes out to all the youngsters as well. Sixty per cent of your earnings should go to savings.

‘Hum hain rahi pyaar ke’.
