Zoya Akhtar’s find, Ridhima Sud, will soon be seen in a docu-drama titled Kajarya . The film, an international project by Madhureeta Anand, revolves around the subject of female foeticide.

Ridhima Sud will be seen playing a journalist who investigates the gruesome activities going on in a village. This, she hopes, will be a big change after essaying the role of Noorie in her debut, Dil Dhadakne Do.

She has been quoted as saying, “ Kajarya is a powerful film on a relevant topic. It deals with the issue of female foeticide at its core. It is also in line with Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Beti Bachao’ campaign which is reflective of that mood.”
