Parvathy Nair, who was seen in roles in Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal and Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain , was in Bellary (Karnataka) on Onam day. But the team of the Malayalam film she’s shooting for ensured they had a mini celebration on the sets, with a special lunch.“I missed being in Kerala, but at least I’m shooting for a Malayalam film,” she says. Regarding this yet-to-be-titled project that stars Vijay Babu in the lead, she says, “It’s a road thriller and we’re having good fun shooting at outdoor locales most of the time.”

Next up for the actor is a Tamil film that has Ashok Selvan in the lead. She’ll report to the sets of this movie, directed by Abraham Prabhu, by the end of next month.“The director was impressed with the screen test I gave; he felt that I was the apt choice for the character. It is a performance-oriented role and I can’t wait to start shooting for it.” Meanwhile, Parvathy has completed work on Enkitta Mothathe , a film on two painters, which sees her playing a village girl.
