Children’s film
Here’s a Kannada children’s film made by the head of an educational institution, so hope there is some semblance of reality to it. This weekend will see the release of a rare category of film – a children’s film called Haro Hakki. The film traces the journey of a young boy, who runs away from home when he gets into trouble. Child actor Shrutidhar plays the lead. His travails and tribulations and his coming-of-age away from home and becoming a free bird forms the core of this story, written by journalist Nagaraj Arehole. Brain Centre head D. Shashikumar has produced the film.
Sunny night in Bengaluru
This Sunday, Sunny Leone takes to the stage in Bengaluru for an evening of Bollywood and Sandalwood song and dance, including her popular number ‘Sheshamma sheshamma’. Well-known Sandalwood music composer Guru Kiran and his band will put up a live musical performance. One of the highlights, organisers KBG Event Managers are promising is a “jugalbandi” between Sunny and Guru Kiran. This, you’ve got to see to believe! All this at the Manpho Convention Centre near Hebbal.
