The 25 year music festival of Papanasam Sivan Karnataka sangeetha Sabha, Madipakkam, will be celebrated from January 2 to 17, 2015.
The following is the list of artists who will be honoured with the ‘Papanasam Sivan Award’ at the inaugural function. Neyveli Santhanagopalan (vocal); Chitoor G. Kumaresan (violin); Guruvayoor Dorai (mridangam); K.S. Rangachari (ganjira) and Srirangam Kannan (morsing). The award will carry a citation and cash price.
