When we meet, a case I am working on unearths a connection with the hero, and all hell breaks loose,” says Vincent Asokan, who is also awaiting the release of director Natty Kumar’s Yevanavan , in which he again plays a cop.

“This will be a realistic love story, on the lines of Autograph and Kaadhal . It is based on a true incident, and I will reveal the original inspiration for this movie, closer to the date of release,” says Ravichandar who will start shooting on April 14.

World of a kid

Young director Venkatesh Kumar’s Unakkul Naan has been selected for screening at the seventh Norway Tamil Film Festival 2016, to be held from April 28 to May 1. “It is a story that occurs through the prism of a kid’s vision. A school boy who happens to be watching a movie is sent back to school by his dad who works at the theatre.

Consequently, the kid jumps into the world of fantasy, where he feels the joy of being a child and also understands the reality of human life and its elements,” says Venkatesh, about his film.
