These £8 shoes from Primark are very similar to a £500 Prada pair
If you've been eyeing up a designer pair of shoes from Prada, but balked at the £500 price tag, Primark is here for you.
The high street retailer has a pair of shoes priced at £8 that are similar to a far more expensive pair from Prada.
Primark's flat backless mules - available in black, pink and denim - are a close approximation of Prada's Velvet & Bow Point Toe Mule Slides, priced at more than £530 on the official website, and currently sold out in most sizes.
Shoppers have been clamouring over the pumps after Primark shared an image them on Instagram this week.
"Those look so expensive! I might actually buy those," commented one follower.
Another said she'd been struggling to get hold of them, saying: "I can't find these pink ones anywhere in the UK in a size 7 .... been to about 5 Primarks across the country! I need them!!"
• Earlier this year Primark sparked something of a sales frenzy with a £4 purse shaped liked a character from Beauty and the Beast.
The purse, shaped like Chip the teacup from the film, has a gold handle and fastens with a gold zip around the rim.
