A jogger’s hilarious interview answer has gone viral after she took the question a little too literally.

Erica O’Donnell was running in a Melbourne park when she was stopped by 7 News reporter Michael Scanlan, who was doing a vox pop on exercise regimes.

The reporter asked the runner her name, before adding: “And can you spell – first and last?”

Ms O’Donnell then responded with the rather genius answer: “F.I.R.S.T.L.A.S.T.”

“I meant your first and last name!” the giggling reporter responds, with an embarrassed Ms O’Donnell putting her head in her hands.

“I’m so nervous, I can’t do this,” she responds.

“You know, in a decade no one has ever done that. Well done!” he replies.

Mr Scanlan shared the footage on Twitter with the caption: “So this happened today. Before an interview I asked this nice lady to say her name for me. Then to spell first and last…”

And Twitter loved her reaction
