Neil Nitin Mukesh is all set to get married to Rukmini Sahay on February 9 and the festivities have begun!

The celebrations started with the engagement on February 7 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

Neil went down on bended knee and proposed while Rukmini played a perfect sport and responded with a speech dedicated to him.

This was followed by the ring ceremony, some champagne, cake and a lot of dancing.

Legendary singer Mukesh was Raj Kapoor's dear friend and sang for him in almost all his movies. His son Rajeev Kapoor was present.

DJ Suketu made everyone dance with his music.

Designer Krishna Mehta gives us a sneak peek of Neil's outfit for the mehendi ceremony: a classic silk kurta and vest with pink dominating the colour scheme and perfectly complimented by orange gold zardozi embroidery.

Krishna Mehta sends us her designs for the bride for the sangeet ceremony: a traditional lehenga, dupatta and blouse with intricate gota work. The pista green outfit with gota patti has been further embroidered with multi-colour threads in zardozi. The border of the lehnga has been laced with French knots.

Neil will wear a traditional look created by combining pure fabrics and Rajasthani handwork, using authentic work like aari, pure zari, kardana, resham and nakshi.
