Telugu actor Nara Rohit (nephew of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu) has been walking a different path in cinema right from his first film Banam.
This young hero has done meaningful films such as Solo and Pratinidhi, apart from Banam.
His next release is Asura, produced by Shyam Devabhaktuni, Krishna Vijay and Nara Rohit, is directed by debutant Krishna Vijay.
Rohit plays a cop in this action thriller. Given Rohit’s penchant for selecting unusual scripts, Asura too has an interesting storyline.
Priya Bannerjee is the leading lady and she looks quite pretty in the trailer. The intriguing posters have evoked some curiosity.
Sai Karteek has scored the music.
The film is scheduled to release on June 5.

Sudheer Babu in the Hindi film Baaghi
Sudheer Babu, son-in-law of veteran Telugu superstar Krishna, and the brother-in-law of Mahesh Babu, will shortly be seen in a Hindi film.
The actor, whose recent release was Mosagallaku Mosagadu, is said to play an important role in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi, starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor.
Sabbir Khan, who had earlier helmed Heropanti, in which Tiger made his debut, directs Baaghi.
Sudheer has another Telugu film Krishnama Kalipindi Iddarini coming up for release shortly.
