Here's the world's fastest accelerating bike. Which means, the Kawasaki ZX-14R zooms from 0 to 100 km/hr in lesser time (2.8 seconds) than any other bike!

Kawasaki brings yet another special edition of its flagship bike, the ZX-14R, says Faisal Ali Khan of MotorBeam.com

Since the launch of the Suzuki Hayabusa in 1999, Japanese automakers have been battling it out amongst themselves to keep the title of producing the fastest bike in the world.

With higher speeds getting riskier, an agreement was reached to restrict bikes to 298 km/hr (186 mph). Thus shifted the focus on acceleration rather than top speed.

The rest of the ZZR1400 remains the same.

It continues to draw boost from a 1441cc, in-line four powerplant which outputs a maddening 200 PS of peak power and 162.5 Nm of peak torque.

This bike boasts of some insane numbers, 0-100 km/hr is dealt in just 2.8 seconds while the top speed is almost 300 km/hr (restricted).

If not electronically limited, the Ninja ZX-14R can accelerate past 300 km/hr with ease, touching close to 350 km/hr. Now that's very fast.
