Fashion designers Swati and Sunaina worked with the master weavers of Banaras for their latest collection for Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016.

Models in woven heirloom saris graced the ramp for designers Swati and Sunaina's The Lightness of being Radha collection at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016.

The duo worked with master weavers of Banaras for their line, which was a symphony of colours and weaves.

With their light, breezy saris in calm pastel tones, the designers gave the stunning Banarasi weaves an interesting contemporary twist.

Check out the different looks from the collection.

The models walked barefoot in keeping with the feel of the show.

As part of their collection, the designers also showcased the almost extinct weave, Rung Kat (cut colour) on the runway.

That explains why Swati and Sunaina received such a huge cheer from the audience when they stepped out on stage.
