Amit Mishra is on roll for sometime now, starting from the Asia Cup game against Pakistan, where he gave away just 28 runs and picked two wickets from his 10 overs.

In the first game of the tournament against the same opponents, he once again had Pakistani batsmen in all sorts of trouble and dismissed the two top order batsmen.
In the second game too, Mishra was on song. Introduced in the seventh over of the West Indies' innings, he almost had Chris Gayle and Dwayne Smith walking back in the same over had catches not been dropped.

The West Indies were 33-0 at that time.
First, it was Yuvraj Singh who dropped Gayle, the batsman deceived by a wrong ‘un and then Smith’s skied one only for the ball to fall in no-man's land.
However, in Mishra’s second over Gayle was run-out, courtesy a mix-up with Marlon Samuels.
Mishra got his name in the wickets column when he deceived Samules with a leg-spinner that dipped and turned viciously and Mahendra Singh Dhoni completed an easy stumping.
He made it two-in-two when he had Dwayne Bravo trapped right in front of the stumps LBW off the first ball he faced.
The West Indies never really recovered from there and ended up scoring only 129, 20 of those runs coming off the final Jadeja over.
The Indians knocked off those runs comfortably courtesy half centuries from Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
