New Delhi, July 14 : The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will announce the results of the Common Proficiency Test (CPT)-- its preliminary exam -- and Final Examination on July 18, it said on Friday.
"The ICAI will issue the All India Merit List for the candidates securing a minimum of 55 per cent and above marks and up to the maximum of 50th Rank in the case of Final Examination," the institute said in a statement.
A total of 1,32,007 candidates appeared for the Final Examination held in May this year at 372 centres across the globe.
For the CPT, which was conducted in June this year, as many as 93,262 candidates appeared for the test.
The CPT or the entrance test is held twice every year in June and December. Likewise, the Final Exam is conducted bi-annually in May and November.
