Chennai, June 2 : Filmmaker Seenu Ramaswamy says he hopes to release his long-delayed Tamil film "Idam Porul Eval", stuck due to the producer's financial issues, by this year's end.

Produced by Linguswamy's Tirupathi Brothers, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Vishnu Vishal in the lead.

"The release is stuck due to some financial issue. The producers faced heavy losses through Kamal Haasan's 'Uttama Villain', and they are hopeful that Kamal sir will come forward and help them settle some of the incurred losses," Ramaswamy told IANS.

Talking about the film, which also stars Nandita Swetha and Aishwarya Rajesh, he said: "The film has come out very well. Those who have watched it so far have only great things to say about the movie. If everything works out, we might bring out the film this year."
Meanwhile, he is busy with two more projects.

One of the projects will reunite him with his protege Vijay Sethupathi.

"I'm ready with two scripts. I'm also ready with a project with Sasikumar, and it will be based on the lives of those who live in the interiors of Tamil Nadu," he said.
