Rome, May 30 : The Islamic State jihadist group has launched a Farsi version of its online propaganda magazine 'Rumiyah' in a bid to recruit Iranian fighters, an Iranian news agency reported on Tuesday.

IS' media wing Al-Hayat began publishing 'Rumiyah' in September 2016 in several languages, including English, French, German, Russian, Indonesian and Uyghur with the aim of recruiting fighters from across the world.

'Rumiyah' is Arabic for Rome and refers to the fall of the Roman Empire.
