Mumbai, May 28 : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has scored 27 million followers on Twitter and says he feels honoured and blessed.

"It is 27 million followers on Twitter! 27 Million! I am indeed honoured and blessed," Amitabh tweeted on Saturday night.

The 74-year-old thespian who has given hits like "Sholay", "Deewar", "Agneepath", "Kaalia", "Zanjeer", "Sharabi", "Black" and "Piku", is ahead of actors Shah Rukh Khan with 25.1 million, Salman Khan with 23 million, Aamir Khan with 20.9 million, Priyanka Chopra with 17.4 million and Deepika Padukone 18.5 million Twitter followers.

Big B is behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has 30.2 million Twitter followers.

The cine icon is active on social media platforms and uses the medium to share updates about his personal and professional lives with his fans and well-wishers.

He was last seen on screen in the third instalment of filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's "Sarkar", a political thriller, where he reprised the role of Subhash Nagre.

Amitabh is now prepping for his upcoming film "Thugs Of Hindostan". The film will also star superstar Aamir Khan and actress Fatima Sana Shaikh. This will be the first time Big B and Aamir will be sharing screen space.

-*-Prabhas's act in 'Baahubali-2' was fantastic: Nawazuddin Actor Nawzuddin Siddiqui has praised southern star Prabhas for his performance in the magnum opus "Baahubali: The Conclusion", calling his act as fantastic.

"I saw 'Baahubali-2' and the atmosphere created in the film pulled me into it. Prabhas's act was fantastic," Nawazuddin tweeted on Saturday night.

Starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati as the male protagonists, the film's story is about the battle between two brothers for the ownership of an ancient kingdom. The film also stars Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sathyaraj.

On the work front, Nawazuddin is busy with "Manto", a biographical film based on Urdu writer Saadat Hasan Manto.

Directed by Nandita Das, the film features Nawazuddin in the title role, and actress Rasika Dugal plays his wife Safia. The movie also features Rishi Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, Ranvir Shorey, Paresh Rawal and Swanand Kirkire.

Over half of "Manto" has already been shot, and the team is likely to wrap up shooting by mid-June.

-*-Would love to do more Indian films: Shenaz Treasury Actress Shenaz Treasury, whose last major Bollywood outing was "Delhi Belly" in 2011, says she would love to do more Indian films.

Shenaz, fondly remembered as Alisha Sahay from "Ishq Vishq", is currently seen on digital platforms like Netflix, where she is doing a show titled "Brown Nation", and Instagram where she does travel-vlogging.

"I would love to do more Indian films. Now that I am back, I hope to do more. I have a film called 'Kalagaandi' releasing in September," Shenaz told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

The 35-year-old actress will be seen sharing screen space with actor Tiger Shroff in "Munna Micheal", where she will be seen playing a TV host.
