Mumbai, May 24 : Actress Monica Castelino paid tribute to veteran actress Sridevi through her 'Naagin avatar in popular sitcom "Har Mard Ka Dard".
In the upcoming episode, Monica who is seen as Malika, will perform for a dance competition in a 'Naagin' avatar. She will be seen grooving to the beats of Sridevi's popular song "Main teri dushman" from the film "Nagina".
"I am very excited to shoot for this scene and I hope audiences like and appreciate my efforts. I have always adored Sridevi's attire in the movie 'Nagina' and tried to imitate it since I was a kid," Monica said in a statement.
"Now through 'Har Mard ka Dard', I am getting an opportunity to pay tribute to my favourite Bollywood actress. I hope I can do justice to my role and the shot comes out well," she added.
"Har Mard Ka Dard" is aired on Life OK.

"Here, besides acting I also get a chance to do lots of stunts. I have learnt to do horse riding, sword fighting, etc. Last but not the least it also gives you great grasp over the Hindi language as well," he added.

-*-Jayashree 'honoured' to appear in 'Hum Paanch' remake Actress Jayashree Venketaramanan considers it an "honour" to be a part of "Hum Paanch Phir Se" -- an upcoming remake of renowned 1990s show "Hum Paanch".
Jayashree will be seen as Kajal Bhai in the show. The role was previously played by Bhairavi Raichura in the original show.
"I am honoured to play the role of Kajal Bhai. The moment I was offered the role, there was no saying a no. It was an instant agreement on taking up the character because I had been an ardent follower of 'Hum Paanch' and I loved the character of Kajal Bhai," Jayashree said in a statement.
"Bhairavi Raichura did a fantastic job by essaying that character and I wish to match up to her level and entertain the audience," she added.
"Hum Paanch Phir Se" will soon be aired on BIG Magic.
