Lucknow, Aug 29 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday unveiled oil paintings of all Chief Ministers of the state and those of all the state assembly speakers till date.
Services of eminent painters from Mathura Krishna Kanhai and Govind Kanhai were taken for these oil paintings.
"Installation of these paintings would always record and remind of the contributions of the leaders of the House and those of assembly speakers remind of their contribution to the parliamentary system," an official said.
Oil paintings of Chief Ministers include Sir Ahmad Sayeed Khan, Nawab of Chataari, Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, Dr Sampoornand, Chandra Bhanu Gupta, Sucheta Kripalani, Chowdhary Charan Singh, Tribhuvan Narayan Singh, Kamlapati Tripathi, Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna, Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Ram Naresh Yadav, Banarsi Das, V.P. Singh, Sripati Mishra, Veer Bahadur Singh, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Kalyan Singh, Mayawati, Ram Prakash Gupta, Rajnath Singh and Akhilesh Yadav.
Oil paintings of state assembly speakers include Purushottam Das Tandon, Nafees-ul-Hasan, Atmaram Govind Kher, Madan Mohan Verma, Jagdish Sharan Agarwal, Vasudev Singh, Banarsi Das, Sripati Mishra, Dharam Singh, Niyaz Hasan, Hari Kishan Srivastava, Keshari Nath Tripathi, Dhaniram Verma, Barkhu Ram verma, Sukhdev Rajhbhar and Mata Prasad Pandey.
