Ankara, Aug 26 : At least 11 Turkish police personnel were killed and 78 injured in a car bombing in Turkey's Sirnak province on Friday.

The bomb hit a police station at 6.40 a.m., Xinhua news agency reported.

The attack was reportedly carried out by the outlawed Kurdish Worker's Party (PKK).

Turkish Health minister Recep Akdag said more than 70 persons were injured in the attack with four of them in a critical condition.
