6.1 magnitude quake hits western Indonesia

Jakarta, May 2 : An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter Scale hit the western Lampung province on Sumatra Island on Monday, Xinhua news agency cited the Indonesian meteorology and geophysics agency as saying.
