Rotterdam, Nov 28 : Feyenoord coach Fred Rutten felt thrilled to pass the Sevilla test after his side beat the Spanish football club 2-0 in the Europa League.
"This was a really top European game. It was a big game, certainly for Feyenoord against a top level opponent, so beating them 2-0 is an excellent result," Rutten said Thursday.
"Sevilla played their typical game -- dangerous, technically very strong, very disciplined and very fluent. We managed to negate that very well. We had less of the ball than in previous games but we certainly defended very well."
Rutten added: "We all had our minds set on qualifying in the last group match so that last group game will still be a very important experience for our young players and I am sure none of them will want to be rested for that match. They're all keen to play."
