Srinagar, Sep 29 : The bus service between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-administered Kashmir resumed Monday.

"Karwan-e-Aman" (Peace Bus Service) along the Line of Control was suspended for more than 20 days because of unprecedented floods in Jammu and Kashmir.

A senior state government official told IANS that 77 people, including 70 returnees (those going back after visiting their relatives in Jammu and Kashmir) and seven persons going from here to meet their relatives across the border, boarded the bus in Srinagar tMonday morning.

"Thirty four people also came here from Muzaffarabad today (Monday) which included five persons coming to visit their relatives here and 29 locals returning back after visiting their relatives in Muzaffarabad," the official said.
