Srinagar, Aug 8 : The army Friday said it has killed three terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.
A gun battle took place in Tangdhar sector, where the army killed the three terrorists, defence spokesman Col. N.N. Joshi said in a statement.
The statement did not say whether the guerrillas were killed during the foiling of an infiltration bid from across the Line of Control (LoC) or they were part of a group that had succeeded in infiltrating into India.
The bodies of the slain men along with their weapons have been recovered.
