New Delhi, Dec 12 : Both houses of parliament were adjourned till noon as members raised a din over various issues, including Telangana and the arrest of Indian fishermen by the Sri Lanka Navy.

Both the houses lost their question hour due to the ruckus and adjournment.

In the Lok Sabha, members from Andhra Pradesh raised the issue of Telangana, while DMK members protested the arrest of Indian fishermen by the Sri Lankan navy. Amid the din, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the house till noon.

In the Rajya Sabha, members from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) raised the issue of relief camps for riot victims in Muzaffarnagar being shut. The BSP has also given an adjournment notice on the issue.

Members from the Trinamool Congress demanded the resignation of retired Supreme Court judge A.K. Ganguly as West Bengal Human Rights Commission chief while the DMK members and Andhra Pradesh members protested the issue of arrest of Tamil fishermen and Telangana respectively.

House chair Hamid Ansari then adjourned the house till 12 noon.
