GPL to develop residential township in Bengaluru

Realty player Godrej Properties (GPL) today said it has partnered with group firm Godrej Agrovet to develop a residential township project in Bengaluru.

The residential township project, to be build under the development management model, is spread across 100 acre and has a developable potential of around 8,30,000 sqm.

The project will be developed as a modern residential development in multiple phases, the company said in a statement.

The actual saleable area consumed on the site will range between 4,00,000 sqm and 8,30,000 sqm, depending on the types of residential development planned, it said.

"We have added this large new project in Bengaluru in partnership with our group company, Godrej Agrovet. Bengaluru is a key market for us and we look forward to building a landmark project," company's Managing Director and CEO Pirojsha Godrej said.

At present, Godrej Properties is developing residential, commercial and township projects spread across around 11.89 million square meters in 12 cities.
