Domestic brand Intex Technologies on Thursday unveiled their latest smartphone installation, the ‘Aqua Lions 3’ for a price of Rs 6,499.
The budget smartphone features a 5-inch, HD IPS display supported with 2.5 D curved ‘DragonTail’ glass for a better user experience on the screen.
Under the hood, the phone packs a 1.25 GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, expandable upto 128 GB. It supports 4G VoLTE.
The device has a smart keyboard in partnership with Microsoft’s ‘SwiftKey’ that will feature typing on 22 Indian languages.
On optics, the smartphone features fairly well with a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The device runs on Android 7OS and is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery. It has a single SIM and other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG.
Intex is an Indian brand that built a niche in manufacturing computer peripherals and is in a bid to expand its portfolios, making recent forays into making smartphones and televisions.
